Recent progress in the phase-field dislocation dynamics method

چکیده
The phase-field dislocation dynamics (PFDD) method, originated in 2002, is a continuum model that uses order parameters to describe slips crystalline materials. In the past two decades, and especially since it was last reviewed 2016, PFDD advanced significantly terms of mathematical formulation, numerical implementation, applicability. main purpose this short review summarize recent progress made improve energy functional formulation techniques as well its applications. Some recommendations for future work further extend method are presented.
